What Matters is Family ~ Chicago Lifestyle Family Newborn Photographer

It is funny how sessions work out.  I brought all of my “newborn stuff” to this session, got everything set-up and had a wide awake newborn.  So instead of working on those baby posing images we did some lifestyle images to pass some time to get this little man tuckered out.  Well he decided to stay awake the entire session (well almost the entire session) and was so calm.  The images below I just love.  They are real, they document this family and their love, the capture how serene this little man was on that day and his wonderful “newborness”.  We never got to those baby posing images but mom said it best, “It does not matter, what matters is the family.”  Ahhh, sounds just like me!

Oahu, Hawaii

Just wanted to mention that I am doing family model calls.  All of the info can be found here.

So I probably think about being Oahu, Hawaii just about everyday.  I mean I LOVE Chicago but man, there is just something about that place that I fell in love with.  We always thought we would end up somewhere warm and Hawaii was definitely high on our list but once you get settled and love where you are it is really hard to change that.  Feeling a little overwhelmed today I went and looked through my images again from that December trip… The Vans World Surfing Competition was going on while there so that was unexpected.  I did not get to see the actual competition but I did some rad surfers.  I still have so many more images to share.  Enjoy the hodgepodge!

Family Model Calls! ~ Chicago Family Photographer

So between taxes, finishing up preschools and designing my daughter’s class memory book this past week has been full.  So finally here are the details for the two family model calls I am holding.

These family model calls will be held at your home on a weekend day in April.  Your session will be photographed on film. The digital files will be delivered through a download link within 4 weeks of your session.  A signed model release is required.  To be chosen please send a note answering the questions below and indicate which model call you are interested in.  I am doing this to make sure we are a good fit for each other and what I am trying to capture.  I will go through all emails and let you know if your family will be booked (pending available dates work out).

The questions…

1)Who is in your family and what are the ages of your kiddos?

2)What are the personalities?

3)What is your personal style?

4)Why do you want to do this model call?

A) Family Day Model Call–  I am looking for a family that just loves being a family.  The shoot will last approximately 2-3 hours depending on what we decide to do.  I am looking to document you being a family.  Please inquire if you want more details.  When answering the questions above please also answer…What to you do together on a regular basis? (Examples – Dad always shaves with his little buddy, we people watch at Starbucks, we hang out at the library, we have wrestling matches… whatever just let me know!)

B) Family Morning Model Call– Again, I am looking for a family that just loves being a family.  The shoot will last approximately 90 minutes.  This session will take place at your home documenting a weekend morning routine.  Please inquire if you want more details.  When answering the questions please also answer… What is a weekend morning like in your house?

Please send emails to andrea(at)andreabroglephotography(dot)com.  Contact me with questions.

Thank you!  I am looking forward to these sessions!
