I photographed this proud mama back in the fall. Her and her husband are some of the nicest people I have met. I was shocked at how tiny she was, there was just this little tiny barely there basketball. How could she be due in only a few weeks?! Well some how a good o’ regular size newborn was in there being comfy as can be. I have no idea how that worked but it did!

I just cannot beleive how fast my maternity leave is flying by, um, have I said that before? Anyway just a quick few business things. First I do have a couple of sessions available for February. These are in studio sessions only and include maternity, newborns and babies. March is almost full and April has some session times open. So if you are wanting to book a session just let me know. Second, I am still not exactly sure when I will start on-location sessions again…probably April. Evers has been quite an adjustment and as of right now I do not see on-location session starting until then. Keep checking back here for updates.
So, now another session from the fall. I was so happy to spend the morning with this family. They were so kind and the kiddos were full of laughter. We had a huge bed to play on and got lucky with some fall weather to play outside.

Here is a cute little man from back before my maternity leave. He was so tiny, had a full head of hair and those lips are just too precious…so pouty and full. He was so much fun as were his parents.

So here is my new logo. Yeah, I know basically what I had before but I love it! Hopefully the newborn site will be out in February as well as a few other enhancements.

I have been working on a new website that will be filled with maternity and newborn images only as well as detailed information about sessions and the studio. Of course I will still have my current site available too. I really need to put more recent portraits in my galleries…hmmm something else to add to the list before the end of my maternity leave. Anyway here are some images you will likely see in the new website…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I am so excited about the new year and what’s to come. Both in my family life and business. My business will be undergoing some changes, one being a new logo I will be unveiling soon. It is VERY similar to my old one but I am so in love with it and feel it better represents my business and me. I am working hard to have many of the changes completed before my maternity leave is up but that time is flying by faster than I thought. I cannot wait to start photographing newborns, babies, children and families again but at the same time am loving every minute I am spending with my kiddos.
I will be posting over the next few weeks about a wonderful pregnancy/baby clothing store in the city which I LOVE, sessions that I never blogged, as well as more of my little guy (maybe I should throw in a few my other kids too!?)
Well here is one of two of my main men…I adore this portrait. I just love how small E looks in his daddy’s arms. I love the skin on skin portraits…there is just something so simple and emotional about them. I hope more new daddies will be brave enough for images like this…

I cannot beleive my little guy is already a month old. I just hate how time flies by. They grow so big so fast. Mr. E is still not even as big as my other two were at birth! He seems so big to me though since he was so tiny to begin with. So far he is still a great sleeper (no less than four hour periods at night) and during the day he is just as content as can be, well until he gets sleepy that is.
I just got his birth announcements delivered and am frantically trying to get them mailed out so I can mail out Christmas cards tomorrow. I really do not want to go to the post office since it is so cold here. I am evenb freezing in my house!
Well here are a couple portraits on black.

Hope you guys don’t get of seeing my new little man since I have tons of images of him to share!

Hello All! I am finally making a blog post about this precious little one that we welcomed into this world on November 15th (I only started my maternity leave 4 days before!) He came a week early and had a little bit of a rough start but he is doing great now. He is such a sweetheart and we love him to pieces (my other two have taken quite well to him which has been a relief, though there is still time for that to change). He is so peaceful and sleepy (as am I…hehe). I have taken so many portraits of him and just got around to proofing one! Life with three kids under 5 is quite crazy. We are slowly adjusting and are just trying to figure out our new routine. I will post more portraits as soon as I get around to them, I still need to design and mail out his birth announcement before holiday cards…yikes!!!

I am on maternity leave. I am just wrapping up orders for clients and am waiting for this little one to make his/her arrival! So since I am on maternity leave I will not be answering the phone much (if at all). If you would like to contact me e-mail will be the quickest way to get in touch with me. If you are interested in booking a session for after my maternity leave I am booking for February 2010 and beyond. Definitely for the month of February I will be holding studio sessions only. On-location sessions will start around March/April. If you have any questions just let me know.
Now here was a cute little 6 month old with the most piercing blue eyes…and I loved her rolls by the way. Too precious!
