I am Andrea Brogle, a modern lifestyle portrait photographer in the Chicagoland area. I specialize in newborns, babies, children and families. Little H was the most precious, sleepy newborn! She let me move her, squish her, swaddle her and unswaddle her with out making a peep…she was a perfect model. She has such a wonderful, caring family too, everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you everyone! M and T, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Okay, I finally got some more sample cards. These are just a sample of all the different designs that will be offered this year. I am working on a mini-session date. Ms. S is so full of energy and happiness. We had a great time “eating” tomatoes, running around outside, eating lollipops, and hanging out “downtown”. Hope you had a great time S, you made my day so happy. Good luck with everything!!

Here are a couple of holiday cards I will be offering this year, I will be posting some more “traditional” looking cards as soon as I get them. All cards are printed on heavyweight cardstock with either a pearl finish or glossy (I LOVE the pearl finish). Most designs will be 5×7s with printing on both sides (similar to a postcard), I will have a few 5×5 trifolds to choose from as well. These cards are sold in packs of 25 and include envelopes.
My holiday schedule is starting to fill for September so if you are needing a session for September call me soon! October still has weekend and weekdays available as does November. In order to guarantee delivery in time for the holidays (i.e. getting holiday cards out) your order must be placed with me no later than November 10th, so the last to have a session to order by that day will be November 3rd.
A good friend of mine has recently wrote a book about being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 30. It took her doctors 18 months to properly diagnose her and by that time the cancer had spread.
This book is truely an inspiration. Check out her website to read a sample chapter. If there are any publishers out there (or really anyone) I’m sure she would LOVE to hear from you

On a different note I went back to my home town this past weekend and visited the Potawatomi Greenhouse. I would beg my dad to take me there when I was little, I just loved going through and seeing all of the beautiful plants and flowers year round. Well, I found out that it is slated to be shut down by the end of 2009 due to not enough funding. So if you or anyone you know wants to help out this great place I’m sure they will take any help they can get! Here is the link to their website. I am new to nature photography but I think these turned out pretty good…well I love ‘em!
The H Family was so easy going. Shortly after I arrived the kiddos decided to jump in the kiddy pool with their “picture” clothes on! Mom and Dad were so laid back about it and the kids had a great time! After getting changed we headed to the park that has some cool painted brick walls.
